About C&K Media Solutions
C&K Media Solutions is a boutique marketing solutions group founded in 2021 by Cassie Gause and Kendra Clark. Before launching C&K, they spent five years leading five city-owned venues in Stockton, CA, including Stockton Arena and the Bob Hope Theatre, with Kendra as General Manager and Cassie as Director of Sales and Marketing. Together, they bring over 30 years of combined experience in the industry.
That live entertainment foundation still drives the agency today. C&K serves venues, promoters, touring productions and businesses with digital advertising, social media management, content strategy, PR and sponsorship sales. We position ourselves as a scrappy, flexible partner for lean teams.
Role Summary
The Agency Director runs C&K day to day: managing most client relationships, leading the full delivery team and ensuring every service line performs. This role allows the Co-Founders to focus on business development and building the company. The Co-Founders will remain working Co-Founders, continuing to work directly with select clients and partnering with the Agency Director to instill the C&K culture across the team.
The Agency Director is the senior point of contact for clients, the leader the team reports to, and the person accountable for the quality, timeliness and results of all client work.
Key Responsibilities
CLIENT LEADERSHIP
■ Serve as the primary senior contact for most C&K clients
■ Lead client meetings, strategy sessions, campaign reviews and performance reporting
■ Build long-term client relationships that drive retention and account growth
■ Identify opportunities to expand services within existing accounts and share them with the Co-Founders
■ Manage client expectations, scope and timelines, and resolve issues before they escalate
■ Build and maintain relationships with promoters, venues, tours and talent representatives
TEAM LEADERSHIP
■ Lead, mentor and manage all C&K team members
■ Set priorities, assign work and balance workloads across accounts
■ Hold regular one-on-ones and team meetings
■ Conduct performance reviews and support professional development
■ Partner with the Co-Founders on hiring, onboarding and team growth
■ Build a culture of accountability, creativity and collaboration
SERVICE OVERSIGHT AND STRATEGY
■ Oversee strategy and delivery across all service lines: PR, strategy, social media management, organic social, digital advertising, traditional media buying, graphic design and sponsorship sales
■ Develop integrated marketing strategies tailored to each client's goals
■ Review and approve campaigns, creative and deliverables before they reach clients
■ Monitor campaign performance and ensure results meet or exceed client goals
■ Stay current on platform changes, industry trends and best practices in live entertainment marketing
■ Oversee ticket sales campaigns for shows, tours and venues
■ Oversee show settlements, media reconciliation and advertising invoice approvals
AGENCY OPERATIONS
■ Manage project workflows, timelines and quality control processes
■ Track account profitability, team utilization and media budgets
■ Ensure accurate billing, reporting and contract compliance
■ Refine processes and tools so the agency can scale efficiently
■ Report regularly to the Co-Founders on client health, team performance and agency results
Qualifications
REQUIRED
■ 7+ years of marketing experience, including at least 3 years managing people or teams
■ Proven experience leading integrated campaigns across digital, social, PR and traditional media
■ Strong client-facing skills, with experience presenting strategy and results to senior stakeholders
■ Working knowledge of Google Ads, Meta advertising and social media management platforms
■ Comfort managing budgets, timelines and multiple accounts at once
■ Excellent written and verbal communication
■ Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business or a related field, or equivalent experience
PREFERRED
■ Experience in live entertainment, touring, venues, theatre or events
■ Agency experience, or experience managing agency partners
■ Experience with multi-market campaigns and ticket sales marketing
■ Familiarity with programmatic display, media buying and performance reporting
■ Existing relationships with venues, promoters or entertainment brands

Compensation and Benefits
Base salary
$90,000 to $110,000, depending on experience
Performance bonus
Up to 10% of base, tied to client retention, account growth and agency profitability
Health care
100% of employee health insurance premiums paid by C&K
Retirement
SIMPLE IRA with a 2% employer contribution of salary, no employee contribution required
